I have so many fond memories growing up with Kimmie and as we got into our twenties we spent a lot of time together. She was so fearless, I remember her getting on Jek's moped/scooter I begged her not to and off she went unafraid of everything. She just wanted to smile and laugh. I am so grateful that she was a part of my life. She was the example of Grace, kindness, genuineness, love and loyalty. I will miss you all of my days of life. I love you sweet cousin of mine. I know you will be an angel among angels in heaven above...Love, Chrissie

I loved celebrating Kim’s birthday! She was always so excited and took her time opening all of her gifts. Every thing she opened was like the best things she ever got. Her joy was contagious.

I always looked forward to Camp Meeting because I knew Kim would be coming home. Kim was loving, kind and a gentle soul. She always brightened the room with her smile, and could even be heard singing Hymns at church happy as a clam. I will always keep the memory of Kim close to me.

Kim, it was a privilege to have you for a sister. I admired and loved you and I always will. You were always loving and giving, sweetie. I know you are safe in heaven with our Lord, but, oh, Kimmie, we will miss you so! Goodnight, little sister, sleep well.

My Aunt Kim took joy in the simple things. She loved her nieces and nephews. She loved to do crafts and really got joy out of making hats for cancer patients. Living in Kentucky, it was hard to have time with Kim. The times I remember getting one-to-one time with her was when I accompanied her to the airport. I remember one Christmas I accompanied her to await her plane. Other Stewart Home School students were also awaiting the plane. She was trying to help them and make sure they didn't wander off so that they didn't miss their plane. She was very caring towards the other students and clearly they respected her leadership as they listened to her advice. As someone with a mental challenge, she showed that she could be a leader and an inspiration to others. This makes me most proud of her. You will be very missed!
