I played in a band with Danny for several years. He was a great drummer and always incredibly nice to me, asking me about school and my other endeavors. Once I moved to Huntsville AL, he asked my Dad about me every time he saw him. I will always remember Danny as a great band mate and great drummer, but a better person.

I have known Danny since we were kids, played in two bands with him over the years, and have always considered him a great friend. The years I played in the bands with Danny were some of the best years of my life. My fondness and admiration for Danny go well beyond the fact that he was an excellent drummer…..Danny played with my older son, Evan, and me in “The Elevators” band for several years until Evan moved away. Obviously my son was much younger than us but Danny always encouraged him, listened to his ideas, and treated him with the utmost kindness and respect. While band members generally share a special ‘camaraderie’ with each other, this was doubly special since my son was also involved. Evan and I will always remember Danny for being a large part of this special time in our lives. To Danny’s wife and family – the Hudson family (Mike, Mary, Evan, and Noel) offer our deepest condolences for your great loss.

So sad to hear about Danny. He was always upbeat with a smile on his face. We really enjoyed listening to his band at the Office Pub and Deli. So sad for Amy and the rest of his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most trying of times.
