To the family and friends of Mrs. Browning always cherish the fond memories of time spent together and although you may grieve the Bible can be a source of comfort. I met Millie in 1980 when I went to work at Farmers Bank. I had just moved to Frankfort from Western Kentucky with my family. We became fast friends right off and Millie introduced me to, it seemed, the whole town. Millie was kind, considerate, generous, but most of all FUN! We had a ball together, creating Capital First Ladies and taking members on trips. She made it fun for everyone. I also remember her acts of charity to people who were ill or poor. She “adopted” a homeless man, taking him to the doctor and helping meet his basic needs. Who else does that? NShe was a wonderful mother and grandmother. I will miss her greatly.

When we were serving on a board together, Millie kindly befriended me. I will never forget her sweetness, intelligence and just how much fun she was. She seemed to know everyone in Frankfort, and they happily knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Mildred always made me like part of the family everytime I visited Frankfort. Shes always had a welcoming smile and was interested in what was going on in your life. I will always remember those moments and cherish them. God bless John, Martha and Margaret for having such a wonderful mother. She touched many lives and that included mine!
