Annie was always kind and considerate of others' feelings. She thought carefully before she spoke and softened unpleasantness in descriptions and conversation. Annie kept those present in mind and sometimes chose not to discuss what might cause a person pain. Her sweet disposition and calm demeanor always had the effect of calming and soothing those around her, for she had a peaceful beautiful spirit. Her strong abiding faith and trust in God carried her through many trials and losses, and her presence always comforted me when I sat in seeing distance of her at mass. She is a dear friend of my Great-Aunt, and so became my friend as well. Remember what Annie understood so well, that we will meet again where there are no tears or pain. Annie was a bright example of a life lived with Christ at the center, and love that surpasses all understanding.
