Obituary of Betty Bruns
Betty Joyce Bruns, 74, passed away Sunday, July 8th.
Born in Frankfort on May 29, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Clara Lee Handcock Rayborne and Jim Tom Smith. She attended Bald Knob Elementary School and Franklin County High School, was a member of Leestown Gospel Church, and enjoyed playing Bingo and working puzzles.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Mary Breeding, Wanda Hodge, and Betsy McKinney; two sons, Raymond McKinney and William McKinney (Elizabeth); three sisters, Brenda Green, Shirley Waddle, and Ruby Lewis; two brothers, Donald Smith and Jim Bob Smith; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Thomas McKinney and her husband Clifford Ray Bruns; two sisters, Fay Redmon and June Sams; and a brother, Kenneth Smith.
Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11th. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Allen Newberry, Michael Redmon, Kenny Redmon, and Charles Breeding, Jr.
