Velma DeMartinis Smith, 87, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
A long-time resident of Syosset, New York, Mrs. Smith was the widow of the late Richard Emil Smith and is survived by a son, Peter Smith; a daughter, Marla Smith; a brother, Lou DeMartinis; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Smith, and a brother, Eugene Demartinis.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with visitation preceding at 1:00 p.m.
