Hazel Clay Arnold, a native of Franklin County, born on October 17, 1924, died on January 28, 2018.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she was a teacher in the Franklin County school system, retiring in 1977, and was a lifelong member of First Christian Church.
The daughter of Milton Arnold, Jr. and Sallye McDonald Arnold, she was preceded in death by sisters Corabelle (Minor) Clark and Miss Helene Arnold.
A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in the Frankfort Cemetery, officiated by Dr. John Opsata and Rev. Meredith Siler.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church, 316 Ann St., Frankfort, Ky. 40601 or the charity of one’s choice.
