Obituary of Mary Husa

Mary (Mary Lib) E. Patterson Husa, 92, passed away in Lexington on Monday, November 13, 2017. Born in Frankfort on January 29, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Dr. John and Christine Marston Patterson and the widow of the late Marshall H. Shouse and Dr. William J. Husa.

Mary attended the University of Kentucky and worked as a model before spending her life as a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, the D.A.R., and the Junior League.

She is survived by three sons, Tom Shouse and John Shouse, both of Lexington, and Richard Shouse of Tavares, Florida; a granddaughter, Nicole Shouse, of Jupiter, Florida; and two great-granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held in the Frankfort Cemetery on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
