Obituary of Elizabeth Roncevich
Elizabeth Mayo Roncevich, 95, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
Born in Athol, Kentucky on September 5, 1922, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Ed and Gorda Louise Strong Porter. She was retired from work as an office manager for TRW in El Segundo, California and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the First United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies.
Elizabeth is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Moreland (John B. Moreland, III), of Frankfort; a son, Stephen Hughey (Janice Hughey), of Cottageville, South Carolina; a grandson, Nicholas P. Moreland of Auburn, Alabama; two other grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Roncevich.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, October 13th at 1:00 p.m. followed by a time of visitation and fellowship at the church. A private interment will be held at the Gabbard Cemetery in Lee County on Saturday, October 14th.
