Obituary of Joseph Quire
Joseph Quire, 69, of Frankfort, flew off to Heaven on May 5th due to a sudden illness.
Joe was a man of many words and made a friend anywhere he went. Joe is loved by so many and and will be sadly missed. He was the "biggest" fan of Johnny Cash and danced his way through life. He absolutely loved music and dancing.
Living in South Frankfort for more than 15 years, Joe touched many, many lives. He has people who love him from all walks of life. His "mama", Janice Poindexter, loved him beyond infinity. Joe was "her baby".
Joe is survived by one brother, Arthur Quire, of Frankfort, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and William Quire, and his parents, Arthur and Lillian Quire.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Pastor William Palmer and Arthur Williams will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be Troy Ricketts, Josh Clark, Robert Bickers, Randy Hazlett, Willie Lee Carrier, and Tony George.
Honorary Bearers will be Jake Ricketts, Kendrick Chadwell, Damien Chadwell, Mark Connely III, Eddie Mitchell, Jr., Bobby Manley, Kandy Bickers, Mary Stivers, and Nancy Gray.
