Robert Lee Whittaker, 62, passed away on November 15, 2016 in Frankfort.
Born in Owensboro on February 17, 1954, Robert was the son of Peggy Lacefield Whittaker and the late Thomas Lloyd Whittaker. The husband of the late Gloria Romaneck Whittaker, he was the father of Robert Tyler Whittaker and Michael Jacob Whittaker, and is also survived by a brother, Thomas Dorsey Whittaker.
Robert received his Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University, and went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He worked for the Kentucky Labor Cabinet and had also lived in Louisville and Bowling Green, was a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, and enjoyed running, playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
A private service will be held. Rogers Funeral Home, Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
Contributions in Robert's memory are suggested to the Autism Research Institute or the National Brain Tumor Society.
