Robert Michael Hicks, 64, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
Born in Louisville on December 1, 1951, Michael was the loving son of Robert R. (Bob) and the late Betty Spellman Hicks. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School, and was a gifted artist who studied at both Kentucky State and Morehead State Universities.
Michael was the first-born of seven children, and is survived by his brothers, David, Kevin (Kim), John (Sue), and William Hicks; his sisters, Ann Marie Elkin (Daniel) and Marilyn Milby (Steve); and his nieces and nephews, Bekah, Aaron, Tyler, Jacob, Elizabeth, Stephen, Taylor, Daniel, Amanda, Robert, Tom, and John.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, with visitation at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Frankfort Cemetery.
Donations in Michael's memory are suggested to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
