DOLLY MAY Dolly Kay May, 75, of Frankfort, died peacefully in her home, Monday, May 30. Dolly was born January 20, 1941 in Muncie, IN to the late Moyne, Sr. and Clara (Curry) Edwards. She married the late Ernest May on September 10, 1956 and has lived in her beloved Frankfort ever since, surrounded by a loving and supportive community of family and friends. Dolly was the mother of and is survived by five children; Luther May (Sherry), Connie May (Loren Curtis), Marty May (Tina), Taffy Downey (Carl) and Scott May (Clint Cropper). Dolly was from a family of ten children and she is survived by 4 siblings, Lenore Lutton, Beverly Leeka Edwards, Frank Edwards (Phyllis), and Fred Edwards (Irene). Dolly is also survived by loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws and a host of friends and extended family members. As a mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend Dolly left a legacy of unconditional kindness and love. She embraced creeks and butterflies, wildflowers and birds, and after a favorite trip to Alaska, the song of whales. Friends and family may gather to share stories and remember Dolly (and at her request, laugh and enjoy her favorite foods) at her home on Saturday, July 2, from 11am to 4pm. Storytelling begins at 2pm.
