Obituary of Thomas Edward Brennan

Thomas Edward Brennan, 80, passed away at his home in Frankfort, Kentucky on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Born in Pittsburgh on October 14, 1935, Tom was the son of the late Patrick and Mary Halloran Brennan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Roberta "Bobbie" Osterrieder Brennan; three daughters, Bobbi Holohan (Pat), Mary Strieker (Ken), and Dell Larned (Toby); a son, Thomas Brennan (Melissa); a sister, Rose Stemberger; a brother, Patrick Brennan; and six grandchildren: Molly, Eric, Kate, and Kelly Strieker and Brennan and Mia Larned. He was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Brennan.
A graduate of St. Thomas School and Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Tom had also lived in Grand Bay, Alabama. Following his service in the United States Air Force from 1954 - 1958, he was a controller for H.K. Porter Co., a partner with Southern Moldings Inc., and a controller for Ancient Age Distillery. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and served on the Board of Directors for the Frankfort YMCA, enjoyed playing golf and watching his grandchildren in their activities.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Frankfort, Ky. at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 with visitation preceding at 2:00 p.m.
