I wish to express my condolences to the family of my lifelong friend, Robert Polsgrove. As young boys, we grew up in the same neighborhood, attended the same church and school, and shared the joys of playing baseball, participating in Boy Scouts, and performing in the school band. Robert's parents and his sister Betty were wonderful folks. Although Robert and I traveled in different directions pursuing our educations and respective professions, it was always a personal treat whenever our paths would cross. Robert was truly a man of high principals, values and ideas, and it was my privilege and honor to count him as a friend!
