Obituary of Kathleen McDougal

Services for Kathleen Stucker McDougal, 91, will be held in the First Christian Church at 3:00 p.m. Saturday with Dr. John Opsata officiating.
Mrs. McDougal entered into Gods Eternal Kingdom on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. She will be buried in the Frankfort Cemetery.
Mrs. McDougal was born in Frankfort on August 4, 1922, to the late Arnie Robert Stucker and Margaret Flynn Stucker Warner. A life-long resident of Frankfort and a graduate of Frankfort High School, she was a dedicated housewife and loving mother, and retired from the South Central Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the First Christian Church, where she served as Deacon Emeritus, Archivist for the Philip Fall Memorial Library, President of the Christian Womens Fellowship, and was a member of the Althean Class and the Coblin Circle. Along with her involvement with the church, Mrs. McDougal was active in many other organizations. She was a Life Time member of the Hiram Chapter No. 93, Order of the Eastern Star, serving as their Chaplain for 35 years, a Red Cross volunteer for the Bloodmobile and the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, a member of the Kings Daughters Silent Workers Circle, and Team Captain for the American Cancer Society annual campaign.
Mrs. McDougal is survived by a son, Rev. N. Stanley McDougal, Jr. (Linda) of Little Rock, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Melissa McDougal Koger ( Matthew) of Versailles, Kentucky; a grandson, Jacob Ryan-Kee McDougal (Elizabeth) of Oxford, Mississippi; three great-granddaughters, Kailey Erin Koger, Emery Elisa Koger, and Stella Bae McDougal; one sister, Doris Shaddock of Waddy, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble S. McDougal, Sr.; two sisters, Blanche Stucker Beasley and Norma Jean Stucker Vroman; and three brothers, Paul Coleman Stucker, Charles Richard Warner, and Robert Victor Stucker.
Mrs. McDougals family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville for their loving care and support.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church.
