I have known Sam nearly all of my life. We grew up together in Danville and graduated from High School one year apart. We both came to Frankfort about the same time and have always maintained a friendship. I was both surprised and saddened to learn of Sam's death.
Judy and I extend to Marsha and the children our deepest sympathy. May the Lord grant you the grace of His peace at this season of separation.

To the McNamara family- Sam and I were golf partners several times these past two summers and it was some of the happiest afternoons sharing old stories. He will be greatly missed by me and all the gang he adopted for his golfing group.

Sam meant a lot to my family as I grew up in Frankfort and way into my business years. I remember him as a reasonable and competent counselor , supporter of our golf years in frankfort, and a darn nice man.
He stood the test of time for our family for over fifty years and thats hard to do as an attorney

Always a smiling gentleman who asked about my family. As a child I sat with his mother in church and the McNamara family was always jolly and positive. Sam's faithfulness to his marriage,family,talents,law practice and community will leave an endearing mark on us all. I knew Mr. McNamara from working at the State Journal and the Sec. of State office when he would come in to file documents. You knew when he was in the office, he was such a huge presence in any room. He had such a good personality and sense of humor. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Sam will be missed by so many people. All of us at Duckers always enjoyed talking to him when he came out to hit golf balls on the driving range. He would always have a story to tell us. Sam was always so positive and had such a wonderful smile. Jay and I will miss him and his great sense of humor.
