Obituary of Randall Oliver

Randall Lee Oliver, age 68, of Frankfort and formerly of Princeton, passed away on September 30, 2014 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Lillian Oliver and two brothers Dallas and Kenneth Oliver all of Princeton. He is survived by his wife Lillian M. Oliver, a sister Sue Henry of Princeton, and several nieces of Princeton.
He was a graduate of Caldwell Co. High School, Hopkinsville Community College, and Murray State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business.
He was a member of the U.S Army and past President of Big Brothers and Sisters of Franklin Co. and was named big brother of the year. Past President of Capital Area Right to Life and active with KY Industrial Development Council, was a board member of the KY Book Fair and treasurer of Hanley/ Deerwood Neighborhood Association. He enjoyed company, golf, bowling, and biking.
He was employed at KY Department of Human Resources, Lexington Community College, Kentucky State University, and a tour guide at Woodford Reserve Distillery.
Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with visitation to be Thursday 4-7 p.m. followed by a Christian Prayer Vigil from 7-7:30. Funeral Services to be at Good Shepard Catholic Church at 12 p.m. with Father Charles Officiating. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Franklin Co. Humane Society or Big Brothers and Sisters.
