I want to extent my sympathy to Mary's family; I know she will be missed.
I knew Mary when we both worked in Montgomery Public Schools in MD and her roommate Ramona and I were good friends.
Mary always had a smile and good things to say about everyone she knew.
Now she is at peace.
Sincerely,
Alice

Ms. Pardue was a guiding light during my high school years at Sherwood HS class of '58. For those of us who could not pursue a college education, she inspired us to excel in business classes to enable us to become self-supporting adults. In later years the 10 years age difference shrunk to share her friendship in our summer picnics and Christmas luncheons. A beautiful lady of great charm and dignity, I hope that she was able to comprehend and receive the respect and admiration that we ladies of '58 had for her. She will always be a part of the SHS spirit that we treasure. Well done, good and faithful servant. Rest in peace, Ms. Pardue.

Tom: This is from Frank Lewis and Barbara L. Lykins and husband, John. The Pardue family was such a blessing to the Lewis family when they were you were in Frankfort. I remember Mary so well and thought her such a beautiful person. Your Mother, of course, was my SS teacher and such a wonderful person. So many memories when you and your sisters were growing up - especially the picnics at Elkhorn Creek when I was somewhat younger. Dad is still with us (almost 98)and doing well. Mother passed away almost 2 years ago. You remain in our prayers. Barbara Lewis Lykins
