Dear Charlotte and Sarah:
I am stunned and saddened to hear of Gene's passing. Gene was immensely respected and admired by his colleagues. His contributions to Dental Public Health were numerous and impactful, benefiting millions of children and adults, without doubt.
On a personal note, he was a true and trusted friend of more than fifty years. He was the best man in my wedding to Diane, my lovely wife of 34 years. He will be deeply missed.
We are comforted to know of the love, serenity, and acceptance you have found during this difficult time. May God continue to smile on you and your family and keep you all in his grace.
