Obituary of Connie Satterly

Services for Connie Sue Satterley, 58, of Frankfort, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Frankfort Cemetery. Ms. Satterley died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at her home following a brief illness. Born in Franklin County December 27, 1954, to the late Thomas and Lois Jones Bingham, Ms. Satterley was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and loved arts and crafts and working on her computer. She is survived by three daughters: Margaret Marquette of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Sandra Meriwether of Frankfort and Melissa Hazlet of Owen County; four sons: Timothy and James Earl Satterley of Frankfort and Chris Satterley and Matthew Willard both of Shelby County; three sisters: Jean Miller of Georgetown and Nancy Nichols and Kathy Cummins of Frankfort; two brothers: Tim Dishman and Barry Bingham of Frankfort; and three granddaughters: Kerina and Staci Scrogham and Brianna McClease. In addition to her parents, Ms. Satterley was preceded in death by her husband James Allen Satterley and her brother James Bingham. Bearers will be Duane Marquette, Duane McClease, Donnie White, Tom Nichols, J. C. Lynn, Sandra Meriwether and Tim Satterley. Honorary Bearers will be Barry Bingham and Tim Dishman. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Rogers Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
