I remember when I was a kid and all of the adults went somewhere when we were visiting Kentucky, Nana let me watch Rudolf in her bed. Another time, she let me watch Beauty and the Beast in her bed. I will always miss telling her about school and the boys that I like, and I'll always miss her voice. I'm grateful that she is in Heaven with Jesus though. I love you, Nana <3

Gosh Momma,
The last time I saw you, it was a quick goodbye. You left us so fast. There is just no way to know when the very last goodbye will be. I'm torn about that. On one hand, I will never another chance to say, "Bye Mom." I'll never get another kiss, another hug, another smile, or another laugh (oh, your laugh...) from you here on earth (such an unstable place, it is).
If I had known our last goodbye would, in fact, be our last, I know I'd never be able to let you go, and therefore you'd never be free. So, there's the tear...right there, in my heart.
I'd give all I own just for one more night with you here in the flesh, but you ARE free now, so I'll eventually make my peace with that, I suppose.
I'll never forget how I made you crazy with "Thriller" and Debbie Gibson in the '80's. I'll never forget the '90's when I drove you even crazier with Madonna, and Joan Osborne's, "One of Us." And then there's Jewel's "Foolish Games."
Most of all, I'll never forget riding around in cars with you as you jammed to the likes of The Carpenters, Elton John, and your less savory choices, such as Garth Brooks and George Strait. How your country music turn drove ME crazy.
However, our destinations always led us to places such as McDonald's, Starbucks, the video store, and just about everywhere else...
Through all of it...from the first, and the last ride, all the way to the last goodbye, your smile, your beautiful eyes, your hands, and your giant heart is what I'll hold dearest to me. There are so many other things I could list here, but there's never enough room on paper to list them ALL!
Always know how I much I've loved you, I'll never stop.
Bye Mom,
Heather
PS: The kids are fine and they say, "Hi."

I remember when I was a kid I was living at her house for a few months. She bought me and my sister, Phoebe, Hot Cheetos and ramen. I remember it was my birthday and she got me lots of nice gifts. I specifically remember a barbie doll with hair down but she also had two buns. I also remember a unicorn toy. She always made sure Phoebe and I were happy, it's sad knowing I will never feel her love again. She made sure Phoebe and I were never sad and I admire her for that. I'll always love you, Nana.
