Obituary of Shirley Casey

Shirley Smith Casey, 77, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
A native of Franklin County, she was born on March 22, 1947. After leaving her work as a Pretrial Officer, she spent many wonderful years doting on her loved ones, winning at Rook, and listening to Elvis.
Mrs. Casey is survived by her children, Kimberly Redmon (Donald) and Gregory Myers, Frankfort; her grandchildren, Sydney Redmon, Frankfort, and Zachary Myers (Caitlin), Collierville, TN; her sister, Frances Edwards (Steve), Collierville, TN; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Casey; her parents, William and Maudie Smith; and her siblings Marie, Bill, Emmett, Harold, Lou, Victor, and Lucille.
Graveside services for Mrs. Casey will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at Frankfort Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Rogers Funeral Home in Frankfort, Ky.
