Charlene Moore Mohr, 68, passed away on April 21, 2024.
Charlene was the wife or the late Cecil Ray Mohr and the mother of Emily Ann Mohr-Knight and Cecil “Peeper”(Jessica) Mohr. She is also survived by six grandchildren, sister Carrie Jean West, brothers Charlie (Pat) Moore and Billy (Sandy) Moore, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Emily Harrod Moore, sister Peggy Moore, and brothers Ronnie Moore and Babe Moore.
Born on May 15, 1955, Charlene was a 1974 graduate of Franklin County High School and worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered as being a wonderful mother, sister, and cook.
Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 11:00 am Monday, April 29th, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will take place in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Pastor David Smith will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Moore, Cecil Mohr, Patrick Mohr, Scott Foster, Zach McDonald, Darren Moore, and William McDonald.
Honorary bearers will be Charlie Moore, Billy Moore, Camren Knight, Christopher Knight, Cody Knight, Gavin Mohr, James Knight, and Cory Dick.
Flowers are welcomed, while memorial contributions are suggested to the Capital City Activity Center.
