Obituary of Sue O'Nan

Sue Carol Moore O'Nan, 89, passed away on December 9, 2023. A native of Falmouth, Kentucky, Sue was born to Alton and Mable Anderson Moore on September 10, 1934. The widow of the late Earl G. O'Nan, she was a member of the Democratic Women's Club and enjoyed cheering on UK basketball. Sue's greatest love and accomplishment was being a loving mother and caretaker for her family. She is survived by two daughters, Jenny O'Nan Crupper and Rebecca O'Nan Blank; two sons, Michael E. O'Nan and Daniel P. O'Nan; grandchildren Chris O'Nan, Meagan Thompson, Derrick O'Nan, Trey Blank, Susie Blank, Parker O'Nan-Wood, and Matthew Crupper; and great-grandchildren Lee Lynn O'Nan and Ivey Blank. She was preceded in death by her parents Alton and Mabel, and a daughter, Tressie O'Nan Thompson, and a grandson, Joshua Crupper. A graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens at 12:00 pm Friday, December 15th. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick O'Nan, Trey Blank, Matthew Crupper, and Parker O'Nan-Wood.
