Bill has been a life long friend of mine and will be so missed. Our paths remained connected from 12 years old til recently. Bill loved his family and friends and everything ‘Kentucky’. Rest in peace, dear friend.

We all had a handful of best friends growing up and Bill was the closest. Weehawkin and Ingleside were only separated by a mile or so. The times I helped Bill deliver the State Journal in Cardinal Hills and Bon Air, we would stop at Frank Phipps for toast and orange juice. The Frankfort Country Club was a favorite haunt for swimming, golf, dances, etc. So many memories of Bill, Holly, Nancy, Phillip, Chris, Bobby, Jack and of course Weehawkin. The Perry's are family. My heart grieves for them.

I worked for Bill on and off at Kitty Hawk when coming home from Western in the 70s.In the summer of 77,we worked together just about everyday.I adored Bill and his brilliant banter. He seriously contributed to my eclectic taste in music..I haven't seen Bill for several years, but think of him fondly. Thanks for the memories and the music my friend.Love to all,Gina

I remember Bill only through my slight business with Kitty Hawk and as a younger brother when I did some plumbing work at Weehawkin. However his father befriended me on several occasions in my life and I referred to him sometimes as the "lightkeeper" for keeping the light shining on Frankfort through the State Journal. And, I am sure that it was this upbringing that assisted the writer of this beautiful and informative obituary. The Perry family were stalwarts of this community and I offer my condolences for those remaining in the loss of one of theirs. Sorry, I am unable to attend the service so I will just say hello now to Philip and just hope you are doing well. Hank Hancock

Being at Weehawken was always a highlight of my childhood. The Perrys were gracious and welcoming. Each had their magic for me as a kid, preteen, teenage and beyond. It was home to a lot of fun. A freezer full of goodies. Animals all around. Books, newspapers, music, games, etc. Thanks for sharing memories of Bill. I am forever grateful for Nancy's faithful friendship and knowing younger brother Bill. It's hard to lose a sibling. Sorry I cannot attend his service. Taffy
