Obituary of Wayne Hubbard

Charles Wayne Hubbard, 56, husband of Martha Stevens Hubbard, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Wayne was born in Frankfort on December 27, 1966 to Anna Crutchfield Hubbard and the late Kenneth Wayne Hubbard. A graduate of Western Hills High School and Kentucky State University, he was employed by KHEAA and Kroger. Along with his wife Martha, he is also survived by his daughter Emily and son-in-law Mason Marlette, brothers-in-law Jimmy Stevens and Bill Stevens (Carol), and nephews Kyle Stevens (Beth) and Brent Stevens, along with many other relatives. Visitation will be at Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 15th at 11:00 am lead by Pastor Jerry Montgomery, with burial to follow at the Frankfort Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pat McDonald, Mark Kendall, Scott Montgomery, Raymond Lightfoot, Jack Phipps and Keith Doane. Steve Anderson will serve as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to contribute in Wayne's memory to a charity of your choice.
