John and I were serigraphy students of Prof. Lawrence Rugolo at MU in the 1980s. John was a master of the medium, an intriguing artist, and a great studio-mate, courteous, kind, thoughtful. Several of his serigraphs are included in a show opening this Thursday in the Art Department's Bingham Gallery. John's print, "Miss You," is the image that was selected to publicize the show, which features more of his work than that of any other artist.
