My sincere condolences to Gordon’s family. “Socky” as he was affectionately called and I grew up together, we were best friends as Classmates at PS 117 in Briarwood Queens, and Forest Hills High School. I had a basketball hoop on the garage at my home where we played basketball in the driveway for hours as youngsters. Unfortunately we drifted apart after college.

Farewell, my friend! Thank you for your leadership on Frankfort beautification projects with the Rotary Club and the many stimulating conversations we had there. We will miss you.

So sorry to hear of Gordon’s sudden passing. Just a super nice gentleman and a great Rotarian. Prayers of comfort and peace for Mary Ellen and the family.
