EVELYN McINTOSH
Evelyn Marie McIntosh, widow of the late Sidney A. McIntosh, passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 87.
Evelyn was born in Liberty, KY on November 8, 1934. She attended Wess Elementary School and later lived in Louisville, KY; Jeffersonville, IN; and Underwood, IN before settling for the remainder of her life in Frankfort, KY. A loving and dedicated wife and mother, she attended the Methodist Church in Louisville and Camp Pleasant Baptist and North Frankfort Baptist Churches in Frankfort, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning fruits and vegetables, sewing and making quilts, and yard sale-ing.
Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Francis Murphy; two sisters, Irene Reynolds and Hazel Towne; and two brothers, Kenneth King and Hobert Propes.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Gayle Driskell; son Stephen Edwin Larkins; two grandchildren, Jennifer Ray Lyons (Larry) and Robert Alan Hutcherson (Jennifer); and four great-grandchildren, McKenzie Raelynn Lyons, Eli Nathaniel Lyons, Hannah Elizabeth Hutcherson, and Carter William Hutcherson.
A private graveside service was held in the Charleston, Indiana Cemetery on Thursday, October 20th, with arrangements under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
