Obituary of Mary Ann Stevens

Mary Ann Stevens, 80, widow of James Thaddeus Stevens, Sr., passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Mary Ann was born in Frankfort on October 17, 1941 to the late Madelyn Frances Pauly Pogue and Howard William Pogue, Sr. A 1959 graduate of Good Shepherd High School, she retired after 28 years as a secretary for Ky. State Government, where she worked for Personnel, Labor, Transportation, and Gov. Martha Layne Collins.
She is survived by three children, James T. "Jimmy" Stevens (Melony), Martha Frances Hubbard (Wayne), and William Elvin "Bill" Stevens (Carol); three grandchildren, Emily Taylor Hubbard (Mason), Kyle Stevens (Beth), and Brent Stevens; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard W. Pogue, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21st. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 12:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 22nd with visitation preceding at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Frankfort Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Stevens, Brent Stevens, Mason Marlette, Wayne Hubbard, Robert Dence, and Jack Phipps.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Good Shepherd Catholic Church or Hosarpus of Shelbyville.
