I am saddened to learn of Howard's passing. He and Chuck have always been very gracious and welcoming. He will be sorely missed. His culinary skills were phenomenal as evidenced by his delicious bourbon balls, peanut brittle, and strawberry butter in addition to numerous other treats! He was a great guy! Chuck, I am sorry for your loss!

Howard always laughed at me because I pronounce 'Howard' as 'hired'. So I called him 'Hired Velosky'. He would say I was the only person he knew that could say his last name correctly, but not his first.
Hadn't seen him in 20+ years, but still remember what a good guy he was.
RIP Hired.

Love you, Howard—your wonderful smile, love and friendship will be so missed——also, hanging out at the Casino, the bourbon balls, and the scrumptious bread pudding—love you always xoxo

I was so sad to hear of my "uncle" howies passing... he made a lot of my state government years fun. On a more personal level my mother is devastated. Thoughts are with you Chuck as you get through this time.
