I was in the 3rd grade & she went above & beyond being a teacher to me. She was my role model. She had a heart of gold towards me. She went & bought me a pair of shoes just because she wanted to. She always talked about her husband Charlie in class. She was a amazing lady that will deeply be missed. My thoughts & prayers go out to ur Charlie! God took his Angel home, I know this to be true because she was an Angel on this earth!

Charlie, We just learned of Joan's passing. She was such a sweet person. Kind to the core. Although we haven't been going to Good Shepherd for a while, Mary Ruth and I think of you guys often.
