Obituary of Genevieve Bryant

Genevieve "Jeannie" E. Bryant passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 16th,2022. She was the daughter of the late Robert G. Brawley Jr. and Genevieve G. Wirth. She is survived by three sisters Jackie Kuenstner, Irene Rukas, and Rosemarie Barry. She is proceeded in death by two brothers Robert Brawley III and James Brawley and two granddaughters Courtney Bryant and Krystal Hulette. She is survived by her sons Joey (Barbara) Bryant, Timmy Bryant and Shane (Starr) Bryant. Her daughter Kathleen Stinnett. 25 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Special Friends Melinda Meredith, Connie Bryant, Nancy Martin Aldridge. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA and attended Overbrook High school. Later she lived in Cherry Point, NC then moved to Frankfort,KY for the remainder of her life on Earth. She retired from State Government were she worked for 27 years in the administrative field for the department of transportation after retirement she devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved her UK Wildcats and Allan Jackson. She treasured her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family and never missed an opportunity to have them together. She will be missed so very much! Pallbearers will be grandsons: Roy Cox Jr, Lloyd Allen Stinnett, Toby Bryant, Dakota Bryant, Corey Bryant, Adam Bryant and Justin Asp. Honorary Pallbearers will be her children: Joey Bryant, Timmy Bryant, Shane Bryant and Kathy Stinnett. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Rogers Funeral Home with visitation preceding at 11:00am.
