Mike was one of the kindest, gentle, and true friends I know. He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything. I’m thankful for the friendship we had back through the years he always knew how to make you smile and laugh. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing and my heart breaks for his family and I will keep you all in my prayers.

I shared a wall with Mike on Second St. I couldn't say a bad thing about him. He was generous, and funny, and could really make you smile. I only knew him a couple of years but I am grateful I got to know him a little.

Any child would have loved to had a dad like him. I know I often would wished that when I was around him. He was special. I always called him eeyore. Just calm, one tone voice and straight to the point. I am praying for each of the family and friends that are feeling the loss of Mike.
