Dallas Edward "Eddie" Lewis, 57, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
Born in Bakersfield, California on May 19, 1963, Eddie was the son of Janet Marcella Abbott-Lewis and the late William Edward Lewis. He worked as an equipment operator for Arts Electric in Frankfort for over 20 years, and was a member of St. John Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and following UK sports.
Eddie is survived his partner Melissia Sweeney; his son Dallas Ray Sams (Katie); his mother Janet Marcella Abbott-Lewis; two sisters, Marcella "Marcie" Branch (Bobby) and Patricia "Trish: Schell (Floyd); and two brothers, Keith Fannin and Ray Lewis.
He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Kaden Blain, Ethan Bales, Dillon Bales, Parker Sweeney, and Tristan Sweeney; two nephews, Jeremy Schell and Jaden Fannin; and four nieces, Melissa Sams, Jessica Wilson, Bobbie Jene "BJ" Hunter and Misty Gibbs.
He was preceded in death by his nephew Jerry Lee Schell.
A memorial service will be held at St. John Baptist Church at 4:30 pm on Monday, April 5th with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Bro. Joshua Rayborn will officiate.
