Obituary of Anne Ribaudo
Anne C. Ribaudo, age 94, died peacefully surrounded by family on June 27 in Frankfort, Kentucky.
She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and met her husband, Benny, shortly after WW II in Rochester, New York, where they lived and raised three children. They moved to Sarasota, Florida, in 1975, where Anne worked in department store cosmetics sales, Benny played piano professionally and both enjoyed the company of many friends and relatives.
Golf, travel, cooking and especially spending time with family were Anne’s favorite activities. Her Christian faith was also very important to her.
Anne and Benny moved to Frankfort in 2012 to be close to their daughter, Mary Anne (Missy) Gardner, her husband Ron and family.
She was predeceased by her two sisters; her older son, also named Benny, in 2010; and by her husband in 2013.
Her surviving son, Victor and wife Sue, live in Vermont. Her widowed daughter-in-law, Peggy Ribaudo, lives in Sarasota. Anne also leaves six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place in Frankfort in September. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to either Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 72 Shepherd Way, Frankfort, KY 40601 or Millville Christian Church, 5210 McCracken Pike, Versailles, KY 40383.
