Nancy Mildred Pitts Bostic, 93, widow of William C. Bostic, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025.
Born in Hasty Pond Precinct, Jackson County, Florida on February 7, 1932, Nancy was the daughter of Joseph Allen Pitts and Cora Lee Harrell Pitts. She was an employee of Frank W. Sower Hardware, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, and the U.S. Dept. of Defense, Army Advisor KyARNG.
She was a member of First Christian Church, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and a Life Member of the VFW Post 4075 Ladies Auxiliary (continuous since 1949), and was named a Kentucky Colonel.
A funeral service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Monday, April 28th, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Frankfort Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory are suggested to ACCESS Soup Kitchen and Men's Shelter, Emergency Community Food Pantry of Franklin County, St. Vincent de Paul Society, or the Franklin County Humane Society.
